Somehow, our story started long before either of us realized it. Back in 2021, after graduating from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Arkansas, we both moved back to Dallas (our hometown). Thanks to mutual friends who introduced us, we ran in the same circle for quite some time as friends, before finding out there was more there between the two of us. If you ask Matthew, he will tell you he took interest the second he saw Alex at Chelsea's Corner one night out. If you ask Alex, she will say she only remembered Matthew from his bright red 'Tabasco' shirt he had on.

It was in 2023 that a spark started to ignite between us. To test that spark, Matthew took Alex to a private Lee Brice concert in Fort Worth - the ultimate test of finding conversation for the whole 45-minute drive. We were both pleasantly surprised when we found endless things in common and 45 minutes felt like 10.

July of 2023, we officially started dating and our lives changed for the better. Between countless weddings, travel, walks with Miller (our Golden Retriever), late night talks, and date nights we started to feel like each other's forever. November of 2025, Mattew asked the question that led us to be here today, and we cannot wait for our future together.
